Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture till fully combined.
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.
Assembly
- Melt the caramel candies with heavy cream over low heat until smooth.
- Pour the warm caramel mixture over the tops of the baked cookies.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips and drizzle over the caramel layer.
- Let the cookies cool completely before serving.
Notes
You can serve these cookies warm with milk or ice cream. Store in an airtight container for fresh cookies up to 5 days.
