Ingredients
  

Crescent Dough
  • 2 packages 2 packages (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Filling
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped Can use leftover turkey
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese Freshly shredded cheese preferred
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or cream cheese Can customize with cream cheese for richer flavor
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and arrange the triangles on the baking sheet in a circular pattern, overlapping slightly with pointed ends facing outward.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked turkey, cranberry sauce, shredded cheese, mayonnaise or cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  5. Spoon the turkey mixture onto the wide ends of the crescent dough, forming a circular mound in the center.
  6. Gently fold the pointed ends of the crescent dough over the filling and press down lightly to seal.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  2. Let the ring cool for five minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For serving, garnish with fresh herbs and consider pairing with salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
