Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped Pre-cooked turkey works best.
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce Homemade can enhance flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese Feel free to substitute with cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or cream cheese Adjust for creaminess.
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough into triangle shapes.
  4. Arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the baking sheet, overlapping slightly.
Making the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix together the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese, mayonnaise (or cream cheese), Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Spoon the turkey mixture onto the wide ends of the crescent dough.
  3. Fold the pointed ends of the crescent dough over the filling and tuck them under to seal.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Top with fresh herbs for garnish and serve with dipping sauces. Sides like salads can complement the dish nicely.
