Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Gently stir in the chocolate chips and pecan halves.
  4. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
Baking
  1. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 60-70 minutes, until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
  2. Allow the pie to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve slices with whipped cream or ice cream. Can be served warm or at room temperature. Store properly for best freshness.
