  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 to 8 pieces bananas, sliced Use ripe but firm bananas for best results.
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 container strawberries, sliced Fresh strawberries are recommended.
  • 1 5 oz. box French Vanilla pudding
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese Softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz. container whipped topping For a light, fluffy texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, take the cream cheese and the sweetened condensed milk. Mix them together until you have a smooth consistency.
  2. Add the French vanilla pudding to the cream mixture, pour in the milk, and stir until well combined and thick.
  3. In a large serving dish, place a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of sliced bananas followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
  5. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the layers and spread it evenly.
  6. Repeat the layering process with another layer of vanilla wafers, bananas, and strawberries, followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  7. Spread the whipped topping generously over the final layer.
Chilling
  1. Cover the serving dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Serving
  1. Serve the dessert in individual bowls and optionally garnish with extra fruit or crushed vanilla wafers.

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator and avoid freezing as it may alter the texture.
