Ingredients
  

Chicken and Sauce
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Noodles and Garnish
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 each green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to create the sauce.
  2. Take the chicken pieces and coat them in cornstarch.
Cooking
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for a few minutes until thicken.
  4. While the chicken is simmering, cook the noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  5. Once the sauce thickens, add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the chicken and mix well.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For variations, you can replace chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version, or try different noodles for varied textures.
