Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature or in the fridge the night before.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assembly
- Cut the thawed puff pastry in half to create two rectangles.
- Spread the filling evenly over one half of the puff pastry.
- Place the other half of the pastry on top and cut into 6 equal strips.
- Twist each strip into swirls and tuck the ends under.
- Beat the egg and brush the tops of each swirl with the egg wash.
Baking
- Place swirls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
These swirls can be served warm or at room temperature. Pair them with a creamy dip or marinara sauce for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
