Filling Ingredients
  • 10 oz Frozen Spinach, thawed and drained very well Ensure spinach is well drained to avoid sogginess.
  • 8 oz Artichoke Hearts, drained and finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup Sour Cream
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
  • 12-14 pieces Wonton Wrappers
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • Cooking Spray For greasing the muffin tin.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup of a muffin tin, ensuring they fit snugly.
  3. Lightly spray each wonton with cooking spray and pre-bake for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine all filling ingredients: spinach, artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Baking
  1. Scoop the spinach and artichoke mixture into each wonton cup, being careful not to overfill.
  2. Bake the wonton cups for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Let the wonton cups cool for a few minutes before removing from the muffin tin.
  2. Serve warm, optionally garnishing with fresh herbs and providing dipping sauces like ranch or marinara.

Notes

For variations, consider adding diced peppers, jalapeños, or different cheeses. You can prepare the filling in advance and bake when ready.
