Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed The riper, the better for sweetness.
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Add flavor to the batter.
  • ¼ cup milk
For the Topping
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar For the sweet topping.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Mix with sugar for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  4. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  6. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, stirring gently to avoid overmixing.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  2. Mix the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  4. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serving
  1. Slice and serve as desired, with spreads or on its own.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing for better texture.
