Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 250 g Magerquark A low-fat quark cheese.
  • 2 pcs eggs Fresh eggs.
  • 50 g honey or maple syrup For sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For flavor.
Dry Ingredients
  • 100 g oats Old-fashioned or quick oats.
  • 1 tsp baking powder Leavening agent.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.
  • to taste Cinnamon For flavor.
Cooking Ingredients
  • as needed Oil or butter For frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add 250 g of Magerquark, 2 eggs, 50 g of honey or maple syrup, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, combine 100 g of oats, 1 tsp of baking powder, a pinch of salt, and cinnamon to taste.
  3. Pour the dry mixture into the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
Cooking
  1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of oil or butter.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is also golden.
Serving
  1. Remove coins from the pan and drain on a towel. Serve warm with toppings of your choice.

Notes

These coins can be customized with various toppings like fruits, yogurt, or nut butter for added flavor. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for a month.
