Method
Preparation of the Quark Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine the Magerquark, eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Mixing Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, mix the oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until there are no lumps.
Combining Mixtures
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet quark mixture and stir until well combined.
Cooking
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
- Drop small portions of the batter into the pan, leaving space between them.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until edges look firm, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and drain on a kitchen towel.
Serving
- Serve warm with your choice of toppings like fresh fruits, yogurt, nut butters, or extra honey/maple syrup.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat as needed.
