Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti or any type) Use any pasta that cooks in around the same time.
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced) For a stronger flavor, use whole garlic cloves.
  • 1 cup Milk You can substitute with non-dairy milk.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated) Add more for extra creaminess.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For cooking.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Parsley (for garnishing)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add pasta, salt, and pepper to the pot. Pour in enough water to cover the pasta completely.
Cooking
  1. Bring the water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente, stirring occasionally, for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. If water evaporates quickly, add more water to keep pasta submerged.
  3. Once cooked, reduce heat to low, stir in milk and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Create a cozy dining environment with bowls or plates. Top with extra Parmesan and serve with a side salad or crusty bread.
