Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Ensure fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • 1 tablespoon butter For cooking the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds flavor and color.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust to preference.
For the Noodles
  • 2 cups egg noodles Or substitute with any pasta you have.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Used to cook the noodles.
  • 1 tablespoon butter For sautéing garlic.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
Garnish
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish before serving.

Method
 

Preparing the Chicken
  1. Heat one tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season both sides of chicken breasts with onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked. Use a thermometer to check for 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sautéing the Garlic
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and let it melt.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute, being careful not to burn it.
Cooking the Noodles
  1. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  2. Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Combining Chicken and Noodles
  1. Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the skillet and toss everything together gently.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container. They can last for up to three days in the refrigerator. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of chicken broth or water.
