Method
Preparing the Chicken
- Heat one tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season both sides of chicken breasts with onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked. Use a thermometer to check for 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sautéing the Garlic
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and let it melt.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute, being careful not to burn it.
Cooking the Noodles
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Combining Chicken and Noodles
- Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the skillet and toss everything together gently.
Garnishing and Serving
- Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container. They can last for up to three days in the refrigerator. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of chicken broth or water.
