Preparation
- Unroll one piece of puff pastry on a flat surface.
- Spread 6 tablespoons of Nutella evenly across the puff pastry, leaving space around the edges.
- Unroll the second piece of puff pastry and place it on top of the first layer, pressing edges to seal.
- Using a star cookie cutter, cut out star shapes from the layered pastry.
- Draw a circle on parchment paper using a plate as a guide to lay out the star cutouts.
- Arrange the star cutouts on the parchment paper in a circular shape, slightly overlapping.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg and apply an egg wash over the tops of the pastry stars.
- Carefully lift the parchment with stars and transfer to a baking tray.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Bake the wreath for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly and dust with icing sugar before serving.
Notes
