Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 cup All-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 8 oz Unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 1/4 cup Dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup White granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup M&M's (red and green, plus more for topping)
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
  • 1/2 cup Pretzels (broken into small pieces, plus more for topping)
  • 1/3 cup Potato chips, salted (crushed, plus more for topping)
  • 2 tbsp Holiday sprinkles (jimmies work best)

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by melting the unsalted butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Once melted, let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter with the dark brown sugar and white sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Next, add the room temperature eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix well until everything is combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the M&M’s, white chocolate chips, broken pretzels, crushed potato chips, and holiday sprinkles.
  7. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Chill the dough for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  9. While the dough is chilling, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. After chilling, bake for 13-15 minutes, turning the baking sheet halfway through baking.
  11. If desired, reshape the cookies while warm and add more mix-ins on top for decoration.
  12. Enjoy your cookies fresh from the oven, or let them cool and store them in an airtight container.
