Ingredients
  

For the Biscuits
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed Cold ingredients help create flaky biscuits.
  • 3/4 cup milk Use cold milk for best results.
For the Chicken
  • 2 cups boneless, skinless chicken breast Frozen chicken can be used, make sure to thaw it completely.
  • 1 cup buttermilk Marinate chicken for at least 1 hour for tenderness.
  • 1 cup hot honey (or honey mixed with hot sauce) Adjust heat level to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential for seasoning the chicken.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold, cubed butter into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add milk and stir gently until a dough forms; a few lumps are okay.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead a few times, then roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
  6. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. While biscuits are baking, marinate chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. After marinating, season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Drizzle hot honey over the cooked chicken.
Serving
  1. Serve the fried chicken warm on top of freshly baked biscuits, with additional hot honey if desired.

Notes

For best taste, serve biscuits immediately after baking. Pair with sides like coleslaw or fresh fruit.
