- Peel and grate the sweet potatoes into fine pieces.

- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onion and cook for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent.
- Add the grated sweet potatoes to the skillet, spreading them evenly.
- Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and any optional spices. Stir gently to combine.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes without stirring to develop a crispy layer on the bottom.
- Check if the bottom is golden brown and carefully flip the hash browns using a spatula. Cook the other side for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove the hash browns from the skillet and serve warm.
