For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces Slider buns Small and soft buns for making sliders.
  • 2 cups Roast beef, thinly sliced Tender cut of roast beef.
  • 1 cup Caramelized onions Sauté onions in butter until golden brown.
  • 1 cup Beef broth For moistening sliders and making dipping sauce.
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded Mild and creamy cheese.
  • 1/4 cup Horseradish sauce Spicy condiment; adjust amount to taste.
  • 3 tablespoons Butter For sautéing onions and greasing the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Enhances savory flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the butter and sauté the onions until caramelized (about 15-20 minutes).
  3. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the sliced roast beef, caramelized onions, and shredded Swiss cheese on top.
  5. Add the top halves of the buns to create mini sandwiches.
  6. Mix the beef broth with garlic powder and pour it over the sliders to soak the buns.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve warm with horseradish sauce on the side.

Notes

For storage, place cooled sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For long-term storage, freeze in plastic wrap and a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain softness.
