Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts You can also try other nuts like almonds.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Feel free to experiment with spices.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Optional, adjust based on sweetness preference.
For serving
  • as needed Powdered sugar for dusting Adds sweetness and a festive look.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, chopped nuts, cinnamon, and sugar (if using) until the mixture is smooth and easy to spread.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese and cranberry mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Starting from the wide end, gently roll up the triangle towards the point and pinch the edges to seal.
Baking
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the roll ups on it with space in between.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  3. Dust with powdered sugar after removing from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container lined with paper towels for up to three days in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze wrapped rolls for up to a month.
