  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Filling
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 0.5 cup diced onions (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, and optional vegetables. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set.
  2. Allow the casserole to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
