Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, use a fork to mash the ripe bananas until well mashed.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined with the mashed bananas.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy.
  5. Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then gently stir to combine.
  6. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  2. Once done, allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
