- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, use a fork to mash the ripe bananas until well mashed.
- Stir in the melted butter until well combined with the mashed bananas.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy.
- Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then gently stir to combine.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Once done, allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Banana bread can be enjoyed plain, with butter, Nutella, or even toasted. Store it properly to keep it fresh.
