  • 1 cup cocoa powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each dollop.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are set but slightly soft in the center.
  2. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature. You can freeze them for up to three months and thaw at room temperature.
