- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions (about 8-10 minutes).
- When there are about 3-4 minutes left of cooking time for the pasta, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Drain the cooked pasta and broccoli. Add them to the skillet with the garlic oil and mix gently.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Stir to combine.
- Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of water or olive oil.
