  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts directly into the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create the sauce.
Cooking
  1. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring it is well-coated.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once done, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Storage: Cool to room temperature before transferring to airtight containers. Store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months. Thaw and reheat before serving.
