  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 can (24 ounces) pasta sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a casserole dish, add the frozen meatballs.
  3. Pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs, then add water and stir gently.
  4. Add the uncooked pasta and mix everything well to ensure the pasta is covered.
Baking
  1. Cover the casserole dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 40 minutes.
  2. After 40 minutes, uncover the dish and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  3. Return to the oven without foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Remove the casserole from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
  2. Serve hot, ideally with a side salad or garlic bread.
