  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Naan or rice, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a crockpot, combine the butter, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, garam masala, turmeric, paprika, and tomato sauce. Stir well to mix the ingredients.
  2. Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot, ensuring they are covered with the sauce.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 6-8 hours, or on high for about 4 hours until the chicken is fork-tender.
  2. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred using two forks.
  3. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir in the heavy cream. Season with salt as needed.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, alongside naan or rice.
