Ingredients
  

For the Churro Bites
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cubed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • - Cooking spray
For the Coating
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Use a piping bag or a spoon to form small bite-sized pieces of the dough.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the churro bites inside in a single layer.
  4. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Coating
  1. In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  2. Roll the warm churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture before serving.

Notes

Best served warm with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream, or ice cream. Store leftovers at room temperature for a day or refrigerate for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer.
