Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 2 large large chicken breasts (Approximately 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Wraps
  • 4 pieces whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing Optional, for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting the chicken breasts into thin strips.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray. Place the seasoned chicken strips in a single layer and cook for about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Once the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown, remove it from the air fryer.
Assembly
  1. On each tortilla, lay a layer of fresh spinach leaves, followed by a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and cooked chicken strips.
  2. Roll each tortilla tightly to enclose the filling, tucking in the sides as you roll.
Crisping
  1. Spray the outside of each wrap lightly with olive oil spray. Place the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until crispy and golden.
  2. Remove the wraps from the air fryer, let cool slightly, and slice each wrap in half.
Serving
  1. Serve the wraps with ranch dressing on the side, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes. You can also add more veggies or use different cheeses according to your taste.
