Ingredients
  

For the Cinnamon Rolls
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, softened For spreading on the dough
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar For the filling
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon For the filling
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened For the glaze
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, softened For the glaze
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract For the glaze
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar For the glaze

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean, flat surface.
  3. Spread 1/4 cup of softened salted butter evenly over the dough.
  4. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of light brown sugar and 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon.
  5. Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture over the buttered dough evenly.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log shape.
  7. Slice the log into 9 pieces.
  8. Place the slices in a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and fluffy.
  10. While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  11. Once baked, allow the cinnamon rolls to cool slightly and then spread the cream cheese glaze over them while warm.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of glaze. Can be paired with coffee or tea.
