  • 2 large cucumbers Wash and slice thinly.
  • 1 small onion Slice thinly, adjust quantity to taste.
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill Chopped.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the cucumbers properly to remove any dirt or pesticides, then slice them thinly.
  2. Slice the small onion thinly, adjusting the amount based on flavor preference.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, fresh dill, salt, and pepper, stirring until smooth. Optionally, add a squeeze of lemon juice for tanginess.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Add the sliced cucumbers and onions into the bowl with the dressing and mix gently until fully coated.
Chill
  1. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serve
  1. Once chilled, serve the salad in a nice bowl, garnishing with fresh dill if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Stir gently before serving if excess liquid forms.
