Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Grease a mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Open the can of crescent roll dough, unroll it and cut each triangle in half.
- Press each piece of dough into the muffin cups, covering the bottom and edges.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling into each dough cup.
- Add another teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese filling.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest on top.
Baking
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These bites can be decorated on a platter and served warm or at room temperature. They store well in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
