For the Steak
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin) Choose your favorite cut
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • Pepper to taste Pepper
For the Cowboy Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for better flavor
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and flavor
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Brightens the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Adds depth of flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and smoked paprika, stirring until well combined. Let it simmer gently for a few minutes.
Cooking
  1. Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the seasoned steak onto it.
  2. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the steak reaches desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  4. Drizzle the warm cowboy butter sauce over the steak before serving.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a green salad. A robust red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon or Malbec pairs beautifully.
