Method

Make the Cowboy Butter
  1. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Heat the Skillet
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
Season the Steaks
  1. Generously season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the Steaks
  1. Place the seasoned steaks in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  2. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.
Rest the Steaks
  1. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for a few minutes.
Serve with Cowboy Butter
  1. Top each ribeye steak with the cowboy butter, allowing it to melt and create a rich sauce.

Notes

For best results, allow the steaks to come to room temperature before cooking and do not skip the resting time after cooking to keep the meat tender.
