Ingredients
Method
Make the Cowboy Butter
- In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Heat the Skillet
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
Season the Steaks
- Generously season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the Steaks
- Place the seasoned steaks in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.
Rest the Steaks
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for a few minutes.
Serve with Cowboy Butter
- Top each ribeye steak with the cowboy butter, allowing it to melt and create a rich sauce.
Notes
For best results, allow the steaks to come to room temperature before cooking and do not skip the resting time after cooking to keep the meat tender.
