Ingredients

Oat Mixture
  • 1 cup rolled oats Use high-quality rolled oats for best texture.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds Add omega-3 fatty acids and extra fiber.
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips For that cookie dough flavor.
  • 1 scoop protein powder Use your preferred protein flavor.
  • 1 pinch kosher salt To enhance flavor.
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or almond butter Choose based on your taste preference.
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Use any preferred milk.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, chia seeds, mini chocolate chips, protein powder, and a pinch of kosher salt together until evenly combined.
  2. Add the peanut butter (or almond butter), maple syrup, vanilla extract, and the cup of milk to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into four jars or bowls. Use airtight containers to keep the oats fresh.
  4. Cover the containers tightly and place them in the refrigerator. Allow the oats to chill overnight or at least three hours.
Serving
  1. When ready to eat, stir the oats and enjoy cold or warm in the microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Top with fresh fruits, nut butters, seeds, nuts, cacao nibs, or whipped cream as desired.

Notes

Store in airtight containers for 4 to 5 days in the fridge or freeze for longer storage. Be sure to leave space in jars if freezing.
