Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar.
- Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract; whisk until combined.
- Stir in the all-purpose flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon; sprinkle this over the batter.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
You can serve these blondies topped with ice cream, honey, whipped cream, nuts, or chocolate chips for added flavor. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
