- While the brownies are baking, melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form and gradually add the powdered sugar.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream.
Assembly
- Once the brownies have cooled, spread the chocolate mousse evenly over the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
