Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked pasta Any pasta shapes work well, but small shapes like penne or rotini hold the sauce nicely.
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded or diced Leftover cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken can be used.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Can substitute with alfredo sauce for a creamier flavor.
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese Can substitute with cottage cheese or cream cheese.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Can use provolone or cheddar for different flavors.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • to taste Fresh basil Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until the pasta is coated.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Ideal for potlucks, meal prep, or family dinners.
