Layering
- Pour 1 cup of chicken broth into the bottom of your crockpot.
- Lay the chicken breasts flat on top of the broth.

- Drizzle with olive oil if desired.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Finishing Touches
- Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir everything well.
- Allow to cook for another 15 minutes on low.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
