Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together softened butter, flour, sugar, maple syrup, baking soda, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Chill the Dough
  1. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Oven Preheating
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Portioning
  1. After chilling, portion the dough into 1.5-ounce balls and space them evenly on the baking sheets.
Baking
  1. Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown; keep an eye on them towards the end.
Chocolate Melting
  1. Melt white chocolate wafers in a microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between until smooth.
Dipping
  1. Dip half of each cookie into the melted white chocolate and place dipped cookies on wax paper.
