Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture without overmixing.
- Fold in the dried cranberries, orange zest, and white chocolate chips gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the center remains soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
