Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- In a separate bowl, crack the two eggs and beat them with a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
Forming the Bites
- Take a small amount of cheese mixture and form it into golf ball-sized bites.
- Dip each cheese bite into the egg mixture, then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet with space in between.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or garlic dip. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
