Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Layer
  • 1 package brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 large egg
For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs Add one at a time.
  • 1 cup caramel sauce For topping.
  • Chocolate chips Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan.
  2. Mix the brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and one egg until smooth, and pour half into the springform pan.
  3. Bake the brownie layer for about 20 minutes until set.
Cheesecake Preparation
  1. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
Layering and Baking
  1. Remove the brownie layer from the oven and pour the cream cheese mixture over it.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce on top of the cheesecake layer.
  3. Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the caramel and swirl gently with a knife.
  4. Bake for an additional 30 to 35 minutes. The center should be set but may jiggle slightly.
Cooling
  1. Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
  1. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and sprinkle with chocolate chips before serving.
  2. Cut into slices and enjoy!

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother batter. Swirl brownie batter gently to maintain layers. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 5-7 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
