  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar Add more to taste if desired.
For topping
  • 5.5 oz caramel sauce or caramel dip Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup pecans (toasted) Toast in a dry skillet for best flavor.
  • Apples (or other fruits to dip) Various options can be used for dipping.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and brown sugar until smooth. Ensure there are no lumps in your mixture.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  3. Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Sprinkle the toasted pecans on top of the caramel.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later. If chilled, let it sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Do not freeze.
