  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix well and press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth it out with a spatula.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer and swirl it lightly with a knife.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until set and lightly golden. A toothpick should come out clean or with a few crumbs attached.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the dish to cool completely before slicing into bars.
  2. Serve with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or alongside vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. You can vary the recipe by using different fruits or adding nuts for a crunchier texture.
