Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Spray a 12-cup capacity bundt pan with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Cook for about 6-7 minutes until the meat is browned and the onions are softened. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the water and taco seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the liquid evaporates.
- Layer half of the shredded cheese, half of the cooked beef mixture, and about ⅓ of the tortilla chips in the bundt pan. Repeat with remaining cheese, beef, and chips.
Baking
- Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
- Carefully remove the bundt pan from the oven and gently invert it onto a large heatproof plate.
- Garnish with optional ingredients and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add jalapeños or other toppings. Use leftover meats for variation. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
