Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
Baking
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra touch, dust with powdered sugar or serve with vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
