  • 1 can crescent rolls For the base of the casserole.
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage Cooked and crumbled.
  • 6 units eggs, beaten Provides protein and binds the casserole.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Cheesy topping for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add the sausage. Cook until fully browned and no longer pink, then drain any excess grease.
Assembly
  1. Spread the crescent rolls evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the crescent rolls.
  3. Pour the beaten eggs over the sausage, covering it evenly.
  4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it out evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the eggs are fully set.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze in individual portions for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through. Customize with different meats or vegetables as desired.
