Preparation
- Gather your blender along with the ingredients.
- Place the rolled oats, milk, frozen blueberries, yogurt, vanilla extract, maple syrup (if using), and salt into the blender.
- Blend all the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Assembly
- Divide the fresh blueberries among four jars or containers.
- Pour the blended oat mixture over the blueberries in each jar.
- If using, mix the melted chocolate with coconut oil, and pour over the jars.
- Seal the jars properly and place them in the refrigerator for at least 1½ hours, preferably overnight.
Serving
- Serve cold straight from the refrigerator, either in jars or transferred to bowls.
- Garnish with extra fresh blueberries or a drizzle of honey/maple syrup and sprinkle nuts or seeds on top.
Notes
These oats can last for about three days in the refrigerator. You can freeze them without toppings for longer storage.
