  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps to tenderize the beef.
Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh broccoli is recommended for best texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) Adjust amount based on preference.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated) Fresh ginger enhances flavor.
Cooking Essentials
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Can substitute with sesame oil for added flavor.

Preparation
  1. Marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a large bowl. Mix well and let sit for at least 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until the beef is browned.
  4. Stir in the broccoli florets and continue to stir-fry for another 3 to 4 minutes until broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

Feel free to customize the sauce and add other vegetables such as bell peppers or snap peas for more nutrients.
