Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt until fully mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to the lined baking pan and flatten it into an even layer.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden brown, and the center is set.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and cutting them into squares.
Notes
Store bars at room temperature for up to a few days; refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
