Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt until fully mixed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking pan and flatten it into an even layer.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden brown, and the center is set.
  2. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and cutting them into squares.

Store bars at room temperature for up to a few days; refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
